Description |

I have to apologize. I had this car up for auction last week. I just received an e mail from Saleen. After running the VIN # Saleen informed me that this car was not built by them. Apparently someone has spent a lot of money trying to make it look like one.
So, hat I DO have is a 2000 Supercharged convertible GT
Interior:
VERY clean 2000 Mustang GT 4.6 L convertible. 6 speed manual transmission. Heat/AC, ower locks, indows, nd power mirrors. Gray and white leather seats and gray interior. There are no rips or tears in the seats and no cracks in the dashboard or center console. There are no rips or tears in the black carpeting. It has a roll bar with brake lights. Neither the trunk nor convertible top leak or has leaked. The only thing missing on the interior is the radio/CD player. It was missing when I purchased the car. All of the plugs and wiring are in place. Any radio out of that year model Mustang should fit with no alterations.
Exterior:
Very clean, nd still shiny silver paint. There are a couple of small cracks on the front ground affect scoop. There is a spot on the plastic between the back bumper and trunk where the paint is cracked. There is a small crack on the passenger side ground affects. The air intake cover on the hood is slightly faded. I put different rims on the front and back just to show how it looks with each set, will include both sets. It will need 4 tires.
Engine:
The engine is a 4.6L supercharged Engine. The engine does not run due to a spun main bearing. I purchased the car in this condition with hopes of fixing it to run again. I spoke with 2 mechanics that only work on high performance engines and both said it would probably be somewhere around $2500.00-$3000.00 to have this engine purring again.
Transmission and all the rest of the suspension are in great shape.
