Rare, riginal, uro-version 2006 Smart ForTwo ‘450’ “Pulse” in excellent condition. This car is a head-turner, eople always ask about the car, ommenting how cool it is!

This car has a Gas, -cylinder Turbo engine with only 31k miles on the engine with a brand new transmission and clutch. 50+ mpg (freeway) and 43-5 mpg (town) and can cruise at 75 mph comfortably all day. The car is more than capable of doing a cross-country trip and is an absolute blast to drive with a ton of head and legroom. It is much bigger inside than it appears.

These are unique Smart Cars, here are only 120 or so here in the United States. They are DOT approved. The Euro-Spec versions have been in production for over 8 years and proven very dependable. The Euro styling is much sportier looking with integrated, lared wheel housings and stylishly integrated bumpers. The interior is different to the US models with a modernist, unctional look. The vertical center console can house a standard single or double DIN stereo system and 3 customizable tray mounts. This car has one tray installed and the stereo is not included.

There was an issue with the original gearbox so I replaced both the gearbox and clutch. Mercedes of Portland did the work replacing both with brand new units from Germany in March 2015. Now EVERYTHING WORKS SMOOTHLY AND PERFECTLY. Documentation of this work is with Mercedes of Portland. All paperwork for the car since I have owned it is also available. Mileage is as of posting date.

- Driver and passenger front airbags and Silver Tridion safety cell

- Transmission features both ‘Tiptronic’ (no clutch) manual 6-speed transmission and Soft-touch auto-shift. Auto ‘Kick-down’ is operational in manual and auto mode. Stick and steering shift paddles and Hill Start Assist are also included

- Power windows and remote entry doors and rear window

- Blue tweed, wo-tone upholstery

- Driver side under-seat storage tray

Transmission oil is new. Engine oil, obile 1 Synthetic, hange due at 32k.

An online manual is available in English from the website "Evilution". A copy is also loaded on a memory stick that comes with the car. On Evilution you will find a ton of resources, elpful descriptions and pictures for DIY repairs, tc. New major parts are typically not available locally and need to be ordered through your local Mercedes dealer who ships them from Germany (takes about two weeks), any smaller items are available locally or on Ebay (search: “Smart fortwo 450”).

Since this is a Euro Version Smart Car, lease check your local DMV to ensure it will title in your state. The car has a clear Oregon title which will pass on to the buyer, lso the car was previously titled in Washington state. So if you live in a state other than OR or WA, lease check with your local DMV to find out the procedures for titling non-US cars in your state. Be sure to mention it is already DOTapproved and has a clear Oregon title. Also, f financing the car, nsure your lender will finance it without a "blue book" value or NADA.
