For sale is a well maintained 2005 Subaru Forester XT LL Bean edition with a completely rebuilt motor with less than 1k miles on the brand new OEM Subaru short block and 186k miles on the chassis. The vehicle comes with clean and clear title, p to date registration and Carfax report. This is an excellent example of this year and model with leather interior, unroof and all factory added options. The car was always cared for, roperly maintained and serviced. The car runs and drives perfect with no issues whatsoever and will continue to do so for years ahead. The car is in great shape for an 11 year old car, howing less than average wear and tear. DETAILS

ENGINE

The 2.5 liter turbocharged motor, uns excellent with no issues, ll service and maintenance is up to date. The rebuild was an intensive process that did not leave any corners cut. The short block is a factory EJ zero mile unit directly from the dealership. The heads were re-machined, alve job performed, alve adjustment and all seals were replaced. New factory engine seal kit. Cleaned and flow tested perfect injectors. New timing belt with all idlers, ensioner, elt and water pump were installed as well as a new battery. The car does not leak a drop of oil/coolant/transmission fluid and there are no issues whatsoever. Too many various hoses/seals/misc. small parts replaced to list. The rebuild was performed by a reputable Subaru specialty shop in Southern California.

There is just over 1,000 miles on the new rebuild to ensure that the proper break in process was performed that will ensure the longevity of this motor.

TRANSMISSION

The factory automatic transmission shifts very well without hesitation and cleanly. The fluid is in great condition and no additional services will be needed.

INTERIOR

The black leather interior is far and above in excellent condition. Very clean, ll original. The leather and carpet is very clean, ot soiled, ith one small tear by the driver brake pedal about 2-3” long. The sunroof functions perfectly! The center console and trunk are equipped with DC charging ports. The Subaru OEM trunk weather mat is included.

PAINT AND BODY

Body is in good shape with the factory Crystal Gray Metallic paint. There are no large dents, here is a paint blemish on the driver rear bumper corner, nd various door dings that are average for an 11 year old car. No more than normal wear and tear. The car is a California car with no rust on the body.

WHEELS AND TIRES

Clean factory wheels with tires that have 20-30% life left.

ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES

Factory A/C system was recharged and serviced with the rebuild and works great, lows cold. Power windows, ocks, eats, adio are all factory and function correctly. The prior owner installed an aftermarket radio with AUX input/USB charger next to the shifter that is currently not functioning as the OEM radio was put back into place. If an aftermarket radio was installed this can easily be wired up.

EXHAUST

The original factory exhaust system in great shape with no leaks. All cats and sensors are in perfect functioning condition.

SUSPENSION AND BRAKES

The suspension is in great shape, nd happily reacts to the driver’s inputs with no slop, lunks or noises. The brakes are also functioning flawlessly with no vibration or squeaks, lenty of life left.
