2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon Automatic 2.0 Turbo AWD 4x4 NO RESERVE

Hello, am listing this car at NO RESERVE for my 65 year old Father. It is a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon. It has the 227 HP 2.0 Turbo Boxer engine and an automatic transmission with only 33,200 miles currently on it. First I will list the options of the car. Itis World Rally Blue in color with the factory 2 tone interior used in all the WRX's of those years. Car has power windows, ocks, teering, irrors, nd keyless entry. Has cruise, /C, ilt, disc factory cd player, nd front and side airbags.Has a factorySubaru Trailer hitch installed also, hat was only used to pull a small sign trailer in parades. The brakes and rotors are new front and back with less than 1,000 miles on them. Tires are in good shape with 7-8/32 of tread remaining. Car runs and drives great with no squeaks, umps, r rattles as expected with a car having only 33,200 miles on it.

Now the back story of this car as some may be wondering how a 2002 car has only 33,200 miles on it. It was bought new in the Chicag, Il area by a retired Military man to use as a fun summer car and to use in local parades to pull a small trailer with a military sign displayed on it. The car was stored during the winter months so this car has never seen Midwest snow or salty roads( Rust Free ). He did this up until May of 2013 when they had some heavy rains in his area. He was driving the car back home when he was stopped at an intersection by a Police officer. The water was already starting to get a little deep at this point in the intersection and the officer would not let him proceed or leave the area. Soafter arguing for a bit theyimpounded the car to be towed out of the area. (For public safety)And this is where it went wrong for him. The owner did not want this and refused to take his pristine car back because his insurance wanted to say it had water damage. Which it did not. It was never driven into the water, nly stopped at the intersection where the water was adding up. So heultimately won, ut this also means the insurance company had to pay out to him making the title have to be a rebuilt title. The history report even states Water damage, OT FLOOD. A dealer friend bought the car and ultimately sold it to my Father. So the car has had 2 owners, he original and my Father. My father then also stored the car during the winter months to preserve how clean and rust free this car is. He had planned on keeping it for many years to come, ut recently came across a car he has always wanted and decided on the spot to purchase it.

The car is very clean and rust free, as Weather Tech front floor mats and a Subaru rear mat that was not pictured that comes with. I do want to point out that the car does have probably 5 or 6 small parking lot style dings on it despite that it has super low miles. They could be taking care of with a little PDR, ut they never bothered my Dad. They would not even show up in the pictures. And there is on small scrap on the bottom of the driver door. Also the factory clock has stopped working. (Very common with these cars) But overall you would have a hard time finding a 02 WRX that is completely stock with this low of miles in this condition that is rust free.
