In fact I'm up-grading to and Outback or Forester. I paid cash for the car in 2008 and used it as my commuter car; driving 3-4 miles to and from work on the week days. It has been garaged as long as I've owned itIt does very well in the snow as it's All Wheel DriveI need to start using our family's primary vehicle more often. and my wife can not drive a stick; so we need a newer car that is an automatic. If it was for that. I would drive it until it was dead. Maintenance:Replaced timing belt in 2008 at about 186. 00 milesReplaced Clutch in 2010 at about 190. 00 milesI've replace spark plugs. distributor cap and wires trouble shooting check engine light. Newer Tires in 2014Front and rear brakes 2014I run engine cleaner through it about every 5th tank of gasRegular oil changes. Condition:The check engine light has stayed on for the last 2 years. I'll typically clear it and it will stay off for a while. The error is always misfire on cylinder 2. I've replaced spark plugs. distributor cap and wires. nd ran engine cleaners through it to trouble shoot. However. it just recently passed safety and emission. In talking with my mechanic. he estimates it's about $250 for the repair. I bought it with a dented up hood and and a bit of faded paint on the roof. The Passenger Headlight is cracked. but has seem to function fine with a yearly coat of clear packing tape. The Driver Side Tail light is also cracked. but again a yearly coat of red duck tape to pass safety inspection. The E-brake is a little soft. but works just fine. Burns a little oil. and has very miner leaks. Current RegistrationBattery works. but may not last another winterOverall this car has car bullet proof and will hit 300. 00 if maintained.
