Hello, I have for sale a 2005 Suzuki Forenza. Its a very nice little car and would be excellent for a first car or if you are looking for great mpg for work. The color is black with colorful metallics that glitter in the sun. Ok, the pros! The body is in very good condition with some hail pings and regular wear and tear. The interior is practically like new. The stereo with cd and cassette works, all power windows, locks, cruise works fine. The air condition blows very cold. The engine runs very strong, smooth, reliable, and runs at a cool temperature even on hot days. This car just passed inspection 2 weeks ago, and runs tight and straight down the road when you remove your hands from the wheel. Was just driven from charlottesville to Lynchburg not long ago. The spare tire, jacks, etc are all present. Ok, the cons! In my opinion there is only one. The automatic transmission slips a bit during the warm up period. When its started it works perfectly, and when its fully warmed up, its fine, but during warmup it will slip and takes a little longer to get going. I have replaced the fluid and shift range sensor. In my opinion, I beleive the filter is probably gummed up and preventing fluid flow and allows flow once the fluid is hot. I have purchased a new filter to install and I feel it will fix the issue, but the filter cannot be changed out without taking out the transmission. Im worried this may be beyond my abilities, so the new filter will just go with the car. Do remember this car still runs and drives and you will be able to drive it home. So if you or someone you know is a pretty good mechanic this could probably be fixed with a little time and effort. The front tires have most of their tread and the backs have about a 3rd of its tread left but will still last some time. This is still a great car but because of the transmission, Im starting the auction at a very low $400 with no reserve. Thats less than a parts car costs. Heck, if you have to, you can get another whole tranny for about $300 more and have a nice little car for around 700 bucks and you cant beat that!
