1979 BJ41 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER

For sale we have a BJ41 Toyota Land Cruiser. This land cruiser has the rare 2B Diesel motor and other goodies like factory tachometer and limited slip differential that came from factory and were not offered to any other markets. The restoration process took about one year to complete. The chassis was in perfect condition and it was sand blasted and epoxy coated for long durability. The Engine was blue printed and it has new camshaft (all OEM 2B parts imported directly from Japan) new: pistons and cylinder liners. oil and water pumps. pre-combustion chambers. Exhaust and intake valves. and new freeze plugs. The injection pump was tuned for the 2B engine. The injectors were not rebuilt; they were replaced with brand new units. The end result is a zero hours engine that starts up at first click. uniform compression numbers. all four cylinders just over 550 psi and a pleasant diesel clacking. The interior was upholstered in dark grey marine vinyl and accented with color matched yellow trim. A carpet kit was custom made for this truck and adds to the appeal of it. The instrument cluster in Kilometers shows 6477. actual mileage 4024. This truck is a true 24V system head lights and all which makes this truck capable of jumpstarting NATO spec vehicles. Old Man Emu suspension with OME shock absorbers. Vacuum operated front axle engagement. We are selling this truck AS IS. The truck was restored back in 2008. We took the truck to Moab in 2010 and we did some of the trails without a problem. We have been driving this truck around town and always getting the attention this truck deserves. The are small scratches that are part of the normal use of the truck and can be easily fixed for a nominal fee.
