Classic Rare Gem 2 owner 1991 Toyota MR2 Moonroof 2.2L NA 5spd White Texas

Growing up, always loved the 2nd generation MR2 but never had the opportunity to get one.
In early 2014, purchased this car locally from an adult female driver who bought it brand new locally in the Dallas area.She decidedit was time to give it up and let it go. When I purchased the car, he clutch was almost out and the engine ran strong but needed a tune-up. Car was purchased at 203k miles.
Since my ownership, 've had it serviced at a local independent import repair shop and had the following done:
*New Exedy OEM replacement clutch and throw-out bearing*New CONTINENTAL timing belt & AISIN water pump,thermostat, OK front and rear crankshaft seals*New BANDO/MISTUBISHI accessory belts (AC, lternator, tc)*New Ishino valve cover gasket, ew camshaft seals*New Oil Pan gasket*New MTC motor mount*Tune-up: Spark plugs, &N air filter, 2 sensor, GK wires, EC distributor cap/rotor, PN fuel filter*New Front BREMBO rotors, OUNTAIN Rear rotorsl; ADVICS brake pads*"Speed source" bushing kit for smoother/precise shifting*Redline 75w-90 transmission gear oil
After driving the car for a few months (FALL 2014), decided to have the suspension work done:*Prothane Urethane Bushing kit (red)*New KYB Excel G Shock Inserts, ellows, ump stops, tc. - Fronts/Rears*New Shock mounts (Front only)*New sway links*New CTR Ball joints*New front tires from Discount Tires with lifetime balancing/rotation/warranty.
The headlights, ower windows, ower locks and radio all work (Original Factory Toyota Radio). As you can see, 've only put QUALITY parts into this car that is OEM, f not, lose as possible to OEM for the car. Great compression readings on all 4 cylinders, hese Camry engines are ROCK solid!
*******Edit 7/11/15 - AC issue has been resolved; fitting was leaking freon, ook it to a shop today and had it fixed. AC Blows cold.
The MR2 is a really fun car to drive, very so often when I do drive it I wish Ididn't have to sell it but need the space for my new SUV for the addition to my family. I was told by the first owner it was garaged as it is proven so by the original paint on the car. I garage the car as well since my ownership to avoid the harsh Texas summers and crazy winters at times to keep the original paint as great as possible.
For the most part, ts been my "grocery-getter/errand" car as I drive it once or twice a week at most. I drove 150-200 miles a week for the first year that Iowned it until early 2015 where I drove another car as a daily instead.
