1988 Toyota 4x4 SR5 pickup truck

I bought the truck used in 1989 a certified pre-owned Toyota truck. from Marina Del Rey Toyota.

and it is 90% restored. Odometer currently states 180,000, ut at 178,000, t got a rebuilt 22RE motor installed, ecause I blew the head gasket.

THE PROS:

Front suspension kit with two shocks on each front wheel
American racing "Outlaw" rims with BFG 31x12.5x15 tires with fair tread
Smitty built front bumper, erf bars, nd Smitty built rear bumper without towhitch (not currently installed, ut will be included with sales of the truck). Newer drive shaft with nice u joints.

Custom auto bodywork and paint job valued at $5000 in factory Pewter grey color and two stages of clear coat done within the last year. Car could still be color sanded and polished if desired.

CA car with very littleunnoticeable rust. Cruise control. Lower oil pan rock guard is not installed but also comes with. Widow work good.

New fuel pump, uel filter, ngine knock sensor, atalytic converter, tarter, rake master pump was replaced b-4.All emission hoses were inspected and replaced. new O2sensor. Extra rock guards for the front headlights.

New hood brackets. Also comes with hood lock and mounted switch bracket for K/C off roadlights.

New radiator and hoses.

Full tune up including all fluids flushed and replaced. Also both differentials and the transmission fluids are new. The brake lines were flushed and changed. I also have receipts and verification with mechanics if needed

Comes with Duraliner bed guard and two Kenwood pullout decks. Liner is not currently in bed, ut it is easy to put on.Back window and front corner windows have tint. Corner windows are in great condition and tight.

Currently registered and smogged, eats fabric is in superior condition.

Comes with original tool kit, ack, pare wheel with a 31 in mud bfg and orig owner's manual.

THE CONS;

Interior is infair condition because of a cracked dash liner due to weathering
Shifter boot is deteriorating as well as the air controls placard is faded and cracked.

Slightly noticeable oil stain on the carpet of the driver's side floor from a careless mechanic.

The two windshield wiper arms are not installed but are included with the sale, It does not have itsrear wheel splash guards that are in front on the rocker panels.These were taken off before painting.

Small patch of rust on corner of front bumper

Horn is not engaging when depressed. May have oxidation on contacts.

Front grill was chrome, ut was painted black.

Has cracked windshield that hasn't been replaced because I wanted to keep the chrome intact for the next owner. It runs down the passenger side of the window If need I can have done b-4pickup for an extra 180.00.

During the timeit was getting worked on, omeone tried to break into it at the mechanic shop and brokea keyoff into the passenger side door lock, o even though the lock itself is still functioning, ou can not open it from the outside w/key unless you replace the tumbler.

One of the door panels inside -handle has small weathering cracks

One of thebolts that supports the bracket holding the tailgate snapped and I tried to easy out, ut that snapped too. I still have the bracket, ut one side is still unsupported.

Drivers side widow weather stripping does have a smalltear in top corner hardly noticeable.

Driver's side Toyota chrome placard behind drivers door was stolen. Car is wired for amplifier and speakers..

There used to be a roll bar, o there areholes where it was mounted in the bed.

Door panels were cut out to fit 6x9sbut currently don't have speakers installed.Horn cover has a small tear and steering wheel leather wrap shows some wear. Passenger rear tire side wall has so signs of cracking seems superficial.

Air conditioner works but is not being used because there is no belt currently installed on the compressor. I feel I have pretty much listed everything to my knowledge.

radio antenna is not installed but I do have the original w/mount.

$500.00is due within 48hrs. For deposit. Truck needs to be picked up within ten days of auction close.

Truck is very solid andhas no problems; in fact, t drivesjust as nice asthe day it came off the lot! Car motor purrs nicely no chatter. It's very reliable and should provide a worry free driving experience for a very long time!!
