Let's be honest...you want a Corolla because they are safe, ependable, ong-lasting, nd, h yeah, heap to buy, nd cheap to run. So why not get a great deal on one that, ith proper maintenance and sensible driving habits, ould probably last well over 200,000 miles?
NADA Bluebook (the real bluebook, ot that KBB garbage that convinces people to get fleeced on trade-ins) values this make and model of car (with cruise control) at $11,825 retail. Now, his ain't retail, nd the car ain't perfect (see below). However, his car looks great, rives great, nd is just the car for you if what you want is a silver Corolla that can last longer than most marriages right after high school or college. And it's still a heck of a lot cheaper than other Corolla listings, specially considering that this car only has 52,000 miles and only 1 owner!
Sure, ou could overpay for one of dozens of silver Corollas on eBay motors...especially from certain dealerships in Texas that sell autos direct.(See what I did there?) You might think "hey, t least I'm buying from an established business that values its customers, o I am sure I am getting a car that has been properly maintained and has all the documentation." Absolute nonsense.
Why? Go ask any of those guys for service records...they don't have them! Know why? They don't care! I offered to sell my car to the same dealers you will find on eBay motors and in ads on billboards and TV. At each one, offered to let them review my service records, nd not one cared to look. In fact, ne offered to throw them away for me, ince I wouldn't need them if I accepted their low-ball offer.
So, f you are the type of person that wants to pay a dealer $2,000 or $3,000 more than a used car is worth simply because they have as many billboards along the highway as Buc-ee's, hen I can't help you buy this car, nd I'll throw in a Buc-ee's shirt or stuffed beaver! If you aren't that big of a spendthrift, hen pay my Buy It Now price and still save a few grand off the dealership. (Just think of all the beaver nuggets, cee's, nd t-shirts you could buy with the savings!) In either case, eep reading for more details about the actual car.
Mechanical: Fuel efficient engine and 4-speed automatic transmission are in top condition and free of any leaks or mechanical faults. All scheduled maintenance performed by Toyota dealerships (with service records!). New Michelin tires fitted last year and have a ton of tread left. A/C gets cold fast; the silver paint and tinted windows keep the car relatively cool during hot Texas summers. Comes with cruise control for those long road trips. All lights and switches functional.
Interior: Gray cloth seats free of cuts, ips, urns, r stains. Matching floor mats and trunk mat included. Trim pieces are all in good shape and have not been scratched/clawed/gnawed. Only owner was a non-smoker and a regular bather, o no foul odors.
Exterior: Paint is in good, hiny condition. Very light surface scratches and door dings. Two minor dings on the roof due to small hail. Front bumper and hood were repainted after car was involved in a minor (<15 mph bumper-to-bumper) front-end collision, ut no mechanical parts had to be replaced and no bent frame or other structural damage.
