1986 Toyota 4Runner SR5 - 2.2L 4 cylinder engine (22RE) 5 speed manual transmission; 4WD

This classic Toyota is a Southern vehicle from Virginia, ut unfortunately, oyotas of this era were prone to rust. The frame is still solid, ut the fenders and wheel arches are a bit crusty. The paint is dead and there are multiple dents. There were too many cosmetic issues to deal with, o we just had the truck cleaned. It turned out about as expected. So while it is definitely on the rough side, ts still a really neat old truck. These vehicles are tough, ong lasting, nexpensive to own and great off road. This one is well equipped for a first generation 4Runner with features such as alloy wheels, oon roof, ruise control, ower windows, ir conditioning, remium stereo, auge package, ngraded cloth interior etc. - but powered by smaller engine (22RE) which is much better than the V6 of the day. When this truck came in, t was not running, uckily it just had a bad starter. So with the battery & starter replaced it came right back to life. And after an oil change and new exhaust manifold, ow it sounds good and runs well. The transmission is also good and the 4WD works. The tires have excellent tread but we did have to replace a few lights & lenses to get it through inspection. The first generation 4Runners are capable vehicles, ut also fun because the fiberglass top is removable. This one could be perfect for a variety of situations - It could be fixed up, t could be used for hunting & fishing, t would be a good beach or mountain house car, t could be used for work, t could be a daily driver, r make a trail rig. It's not the nicest example, ut it is not modified and still has potential. Due to the age and mileage, inancing is not available.
