1981 Toyota 4X4 HiLux Pick Up Truck in Rare Unmolested condition showing 71,590 miles offered by Gas Monkey Garage! The 3rd gen Toyota 4X4 has always been one of my favorite Toys and I must say I got excited when I caught wind of this one! This little gem is in remarkable condition with what appears to be the original paint and is fairly unmolested having a Webber Carb and header installed to improve performance and drivability. The exterior is in great condition with minor nicks and scratches as you would expect on such an original example. There are minor rust spots at the base of the windshield that should be addressed soon and the tailgate was not included but other than that the exterior is in really good, olid condition. The interior is also in fairly good, riginal condition with wear in the rubber floor covering and cracks present in the dash and having had an aftermarket stereo installed that is not included either showing minor wear and making for an easy classic restoration(see all pics)! The engine starts right up but the exhaust needs some attention as the header pipe and exhaust pipe are different sizes and there is a leak present. The transfer case shifts in and out of 2H-4H-N-4L as well as the manual transmission and the manual lock out hubs engage and disengage smoothly by hand! While this truck runs and drives it should be completely serviced before any extended driving to ensure safety and reliability (due to our filming schedule, e cannot perform any additional work on this truck for you**SOLD AS IS WHERE IS**). Underside pics reveal a solid chassis with minor superficial rust present on most components (again, ee all pics).
