1997 Land Cruiser FJ80 / Lexus LX450

I'm offering up for bid, very nice, lean, tock, passenger1997Lexus LX450 (same as Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80 with a softer suspension package). This truckhas beena garage kept, all crawler/pavement/garage queen itsentire life, nd is in clean, nmolested condition(nooff road modifications).The gentleman that I purchased the truck from, idn't even know what the differential locks were for,and they were never used to his knowledge, or was the truck ever put in 4wd low range while under his ownership.

This truckruns excellent, nd has been serviced regularly, ith the engine oil being changed every 3k miles as it should. The truck is mechanically sound, ith no check engine or warning lights, nd very little to minorrust issues. I'd rate the undercarriage a 9/10, ith very few small surface rust spots here and there.The truckhas no leaks,good paint,a solid front axle, ith the rare and desirable front, nd rear differential lockers (less than 10% sold with this option), s well as the center differential locker that function as they should when using 4wd low range. This truck has 216k miles on the clock, ith the 4.5L inline 6 cylinder, nd almost every option available (no built in cell phone option), ncluding a functioning 6 CD changer with center console subwoofer, oon roof, eather seating, ncluding third row seats, ow hitch, ower everything, nd good tires. This is pretty much a gas and drive vehicle. Full disclosure, here is the typical wear with cracking in the front two seats, he power antenna does not retract as it should,the plastic rain guard in front of the moon roof is missing and one spot on the front of the hood that is bubbled up, ut so minor I was not able to get a good shot of it with the camera, ven close up.The only other rust issue is aspot on theinner fender well,passenger side, oward the bottom front.These are very minor issues, ut I want to represent this vehicle for what it is, nd nottry and hide anything, s I would expect from someone trying to sell me something.
MSRP for a base 1997 LX450was $47,995. I searched for over a year before I found one in this good shape, nd I bought it with the intention of making an off-road/expedition rig to camp, ayak, anoe, ullour rzr to off road parks, nd a little mild off-roading in the truck given the opportunity. But things have changed, nd funds are no longer available to me for the upgrades that I would have liked to made.
If you know anything about the Toyota FZJ80's then you already know these things are built like a tank, nd designed to go for 100's of 1000's of miles with little maintenance, hus making a great expedition build platform.
