Toyota Land Cruiser Diesel HJ45 Pickup

This is a good clean HJ45.It is all original except for a later split transfer case, ide wheels and aftermarket door mirrors . I recently drove this car 400 Miles and it did not miss a beat, t used 1/2 quart of oil and mileage was around 25 MPG. It is very easy to restore. I have made videos of a cold start and a walk around showing the faults with the body and will email them to anyone who is interested. Below is an outline of the pickups condition -

Electrical

Bad

• Headlight knob is bent but still works fine
• Low speed fan resister has connection burnt off
• Reverse lights not connected
• the amazing ferris cassette radio is not conected

Good

• The alternator is charging
• Everything elese works including the EDIC

Mechanical

Bad

• Blows white smoke on cold start up for 10 seconds or so then clear right up, robably needs the injectors serviced and compression is probably getting a bit lower.
• Handbrake shoes need replacing
• Brakes could do with an adjustment.
• Pin hole in the exhaust
• The total mileage is unlnown

Good

• Gear box shifts very well, mooth and quite
• The engine runs smooth, t is responsive and pulls up most hills no problem at 50 - 60 m/hr, t is economical; it has just had an oil change, uel filter, rimer pump.
• Front and rear shocks springs and bushes are good
• New tie rood ends
• Recent wheel alignment
• There are no oil leaks from the transfer, earbox, ifferentials or engine. The swivel hubs seals are also good.
• Universal joints are good
• Radiator is good
• Master cylinder holds fluid
• Clutch hold fluid

Interior

Bad

• Rips in drivers seat
• Non standard transfer stick knob
• Floor mat has cracks and generally poor condition
• Non standard interior light
• Passenger door latch escutcheonplate missing
• Drivers 1/4 vent window knob broken off and is in the glove box
• Head lining is coming away at the edges
• Passenger seat belt cover missing
• Fuse box cover missing
• Ash tray jammed shut

Body

Bad

• Bib - rust bulges at the bottom
• Hood - x 4 pin holes at the front plus a few corrosion marks
• Drivers floor - x 3 pin holes
• Passenger floor - 3/4" rust split
• Drivers and passenger door - x 6 screw holes from add on mirrors
• Non standard mirrors
• Front bumper has been shortened
• Body behind passenger door has 1/2" split
• Passenger side cab to tub junction above door catch on the inside a hole about the size of a fingernail
• Roof - pin holes and evidence of bondo on passenger and drivers side, utters are very solid.
• Seam sealing missing in places but no rust underneath.
• Paint is chipped in places especially in high wear areas along the door edges
• Door rubbers are in poor condition
• Window regulators are a little stiff and jumpy.

Good

• Very easy to restore, inimal rust, o noticeable dents.
• Chassis is very good no major rust, bit of surface rust in places but very solid
