1990 Toyota Camry DX All-Trac. Can be registered as historic vehicle. cheaper insurance and registration is $30 once every ten years.This is not some back yard conversion. It is a Factory full time four wheel drive car. Tilt wheel, ruise control, ower windows and locks. Has fully independent four wheel suspension and four wheel disk brakes. It will automatically run up to a 50/50 torque split front to back. 3sfe dual over head cam four cylinder engine. Automatic transmission with power shift mode. Amazing in the snow. I bought the car unseen from New Jersey. I was told it was in excellent condition with no rust. I was lied to. It has obvious rust repair to both rear quarter panel wheel arches and minor surface rust in several spots. 0n it's arrival it had new radiator and hoses. It had a real bad oil leak and discovered the water pump was leaking. So I parked it for a year. Last year I put in new front lower crank seal, am seal and oil pump seal and "o" ring. Timing tensioner, iming belt and water pump. And all upper valve cover seals. New distributor and wires as well as new spark plugs. I could tell that the head gasket had been changed at some point. Has Ajusa head bolts that aren't factory. Cooling system is now good. And doesn't use or leak oil. I'm going to be losing about a two grand on this car, o I'm done putting money into it. Just put a newer Duralast battery. Tires are like new. Just did the brakes. Has drilled and slotted rear rotors and Akebono premium pads.starter is a whole two weeks old.Car runs and shifts great. struts are bad, ake noise on bumps but drivable as is and doesn't pull at all on the highway.Has several lights in the dash burnt out. They are the ones that indicate power/normal shift modes and overdrive on/off. The top of the dash has some wavy areas by the defrost vents. Seats are in good condition as is the underneath of the car. Heat works great. Could use wipers. AC is inoperative. Compressor will turn by hand but unit does not engage. Haven't checked it beyond that. Driver door lock switch will lock all four doors but wont unlock them. if you turn the key twice in the drivers door it unlocks all four. As does the passenger side lock and button.has a crack in the floor shift indicator lens and a torn door seal passenger side front. Has an exhaust leak. the flex pipe has a hole in it and the muffler is split.
