1986 MR2 very low miles - enjoy a classic car! I am the 3rd owner, bought from a friend in 1995 at 23090 miles. Clean engine (not the turbo), handles well, fun to drive. Maintenance file, owner’s manual, spare tire, jack and sun roof cover included. Has original floor mats. A few cosmetic TLC items on lower front as it came close to the parking curb (a few very small rust spots there). Does have significant cracks in windshield. Needs tires (dry rot due to Colorado heat), and needs a fresh battery. I didn’t change out the tires or wheels because car enthusiasts are particular about what type and brand they run! That’s OK! No need to get into a tire/wheel debate here. This way, you’ll get to choose what YOU want :) ! I used to work for the Crain’s “Tire Business” publication.
The off color front fender panel and spoiler were like this when we bought the car in ’95. If anything happened it was in the past - pre 95 - and didn’t affect the performance or FUN built into driving it. Here’s a car I’ll really miss zipping around in! The reports (from ebay) are all clean, so I don’t have any other info on that. It doesn’t affect how the car runs!
Engine runs great. Has new fuel filter (which is inside the gas tank, by the way-kind of a pain). Brakes work fine.
I am a responsible driver and never had a speeding ticket in this car.:) Seriously! Fun to hear the engine respond and watch it handle so well... yep... I've been mini-van driving lately, but that’s ok, too. There is a time for vans and a time for Fun sports cars.... Now's the time for YOU to enjoy this car.
Ready to sell. Make an offer. Enjoy somegood driving times of your own - I did!
