What has been done since ownership:
  • New Batteries

  • New Front Rotors
  • New Front brakes
  • New Rear brake shoes
  • New greaseable shackles installed
  • New Front Shocks
  • New tie rod
  • New Drag link
  • New Steering damper
  • front seatsreupholstered
  • door cards reupholstered
  • New upper and lower radiator hoses
  • bed-linermaterial on interior

  • radio installed (basic radio, has AUX output, USB and SD card options)
  • New Front speakers
  • Roof rack
  • tinted windows
  • New Emergency brake cable
It needs nothing major but a list of the small stuff follows:
  • tires are a touch too wide and rub on tight turns (spacer or different tires will fix)
  • fuel gauge isn't accurate (reads full when full but at 3/4 drops to empty)
  • interior dash lights not working ( come on and off sometimes. there is a short somewhere I haven't had time to track down)
  • passenger side window crank falls off sometimes (window works fine)
  • spare tire chainunderneath rear doesn't crank all the way up
  • "toyota"emblem missing off front grill (seriously who steals theses things!?)
  • Intermediate Steering shaft is worn (have not been able to source replacement yet)
  • windshield fluid sprayer pump doesn't work.
  • last 6 inches of tail pipe broken off.
I have tried to be asthoroughas possible with the write up but please ask any and all questions and I will answer honestly and to the best of my ability. The truck drives straight and true with a normal amount of play in steering wheel for a truck of this type. No black or grey smoke is discharged out the tail pipe on startup or under load. Truck starts up first turn of the key EVERY time even after sitting for two months on its travel from Madagascar. Heat blows Hot, not equipped with A/C. Shifts smooth in every gear.
