1982 Toyota SR5 short box. Fully restored frame off. Less then 65kms since finished 5 years ago, which was put on for inspections exhaust and odds and ends.
History: I've owned this truck for nearly 10 years now and spent the last 8 of them restoring it off and on as I had time and found parts. The only thing on this truck I did not do over is the body as it came from a Florida show truck that was imported years ago which I took the body from and put on to my chasis. Truck is fitted with a Buick 3.8L V6 and 350 turbo tranny (automatic) with advance, and Downey offroad adapters connected to the original Toyota gear drive transfer case.
This truck has all brand new oem brakes including calipers, drums, pads, shoes, rotors, and stainless lines, all new front and rear bearings, axle bearings inner and outer with seals, front axle has new knuckle rebuild and seal kit with all new locking aisin hub assembly. Upgraded over stock include fully greasable shackles and leaf spring mounts. Old man emu is the brand of leaf springs. Shocks are old school rancho. High steer kit with FJ60 tie rod ends with newer Toyota model steering box and all new custom lines to a new buick pump. 5.29 gears with new bearing front and back with Detroit locker up front. Sitting on new Mickey Thompson 35x12.5 R15 rims.
Frame and axle housings and complerte frame were blasted and powder coated. Frame was stitch welded front to back for added strength.
As for the Buick power train it was rebuilt 6 years ago and had sat in truck since with occasional running to operating temp. This spring a new edlebrock carb was added. 500cfm 4 bbl. new alternator, battery, power steering pump and fluids all changed to royal purple. Has new aluminum rad custom mounted and oversized. Has shorty headers installed with flange back custom 2.5" exhaust with dual flowmaster 50 series mufflers and stainless magnaflow tips out each side for great sound.
As for the negatives:
Side windows have some outer corners engraved from when in show back in late 80's. Driver side window needs new tint. Back corner of lower box pan behind bumper has a dent passenger side. Noticed driver side valve cover gasket is sweaty from sitting. Truck needs a complete wash down from being in storage garage.
Shipping will be buyers expense and responsibility.
I am more then willing to help assist in arranging shipping and get needed paper work in place with the buyer of this truck. I can also offer direct delivery or somewhere easier for the seller.
