For sale: 1985 Toyota Supra Mk2.
Exterior Condition:
Needs work. There are two spots of body rot on the doors, the spare tire well has rusted away entirely and the wheel wells need to be looked at. Paint is otherwise perfect and there is no glass or bodywork damage to speak of. It's currently riding on Cooper Cobra A/C radials.
Interior Condition:
The front seats are chewed up a bit but still perfectly comfortable, the rear seats are in okay condition. Carpet is good, all the plastic is in good shape (cruise control button is broken) and the dashboard isn't cracking or peeling. Two of the trim pieces (A-pillar covers) were falling apart so they're gone. The carpet in the cargo bay has been ripped out and the false floor is a homemade job from the previous owner.
Mechanical:
Engine (5MGE non-turbo) runs perfectly with the exception of one leaky vacuum hose I have yet to diagnose. Air conditioning runs but the fans aren't the best. The car does need exhaust work and a replacement fuel tank which I am going to purchase and have installed. The transmission and differential are loud but I'm assuming that's because of the giant hole in the spare tire well.
Electrical:
Everything works, including the sunroof and the pop-up headlights which are quick and come up all the way every time. I have an aftermarket radio installed but no custom speakers. The speedometer and odometer are both non functioning currently (I'm looking into getting this fixed) but all other gauges work fine.
Summary:
A really fun and rare car with a unique look that needs more love than I have time to put into it. With some attention and dedication, this could easily be brought back to 100% condition.
