Description

YOU WILL BE THE THIRD OWNER OF THIS 34 YEAR OLD CAR. BUT FOR THE ACCIDENT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A KEEPER. THE CAR IS LOCATED NEAR 75TH AND NORTHERN AVENUES IN PEORIA. ARIZONA. COMES WITH ARIZONA BRANDED SALVAGE TITLE. I bought this car from a 96 year old who bought it new and only put 26. 00 miles on in thirty years. He must not have taken it to church on Sundays!! My son flew to Miami FL in May of 2012 and drove it to Phoenix AZ. No problems. In nearly 3 years. I put 40. 00 miles on her. I had the A/C converted to 134a with all new parts. The radiator was was removed and restored to new. and all the rubber and belts were replaced as was the water pump. She runs well. Never over heats. and the a/c works well. I allowed a friend to use the car. While he was in jail. the car was stolen. It was recovered a few days later. being rear ended by a hit and run driver. You can easily see the damage from the photos. The car was pushed towards a concrete light post pillar and the drivers front fender is scraped. She starts right up. drives straight. and stops as she should. All of the doors lock. open. and close without problem. So does the hood. The trunk needs some help! Needs upholstery including the headliner as well as a radio. All of this was nearly perfect before the theft. The windshield is cracked. So is the dash. These were perfect when I got the car. These imperfections never bothered me. The donut spare is on the front drivers wheel to replace the original which was deflated when the car was pushed over a curb. To have the title branded as restored. it will need to have rear tail lights installed and inspected by DMV. any cheap trailer lights will do so long as they blink for the turn signal and light up when you hit the brakes. The drivers side still lights up. but the lens is cracked and shows white light. The engine and tranny alone are worth a thousand bucks. you won't find a low mileage replacement like these anywhere. Nearly every time I filled this up with gasoline. somebody would come up to me and ask whether I would like to sell. People love these cars. I would not be afraid to drive this car to anywhere within the United States. or the North American Continent for that matter. I trust it's reliability. DO NOT CALL OR MESSAGE ME TO SEE WHETHER I WILL SELL IT TO YOU FOR $XXX. I WON'T. THIS SELLS THROUGH EBAY TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. IT COSTS ME $60 TO SELL THROUGH THEM. AND THAT'S FINE WITH ME. I DON'T WANT TO CHEAT THEM OUT OF THEIR FEE FOR GETTING US TOGETHER.
