1987 Toyota Xtra Cab 4X4 22re Pickup Auto 166k

Hate to get rid of this fun truck. but don't really want to get in to the transmission. I'm not much of a mechanic. so I'm not sure if this is a big fix or not. Transmission was rebuilt a year ago by a reputable shop. so my guess is. that it's a sensor/solenoid thing. but like I said. not much of a mechanic. As motor warms. idle becomes erratic in 2WD. Switch to 4WD. problem disappears. Motor is strong. 4X4 works great. Runs and drives fine. Still using it for a daily driver. but have to be a little patient with the transmission/give it a little help. Tires maybe 30% life remains. Never changed brakes. but inspected them recently and still tons of pad/rotor remains. Brake pedal is a bit soft. but has been as long as I've owned the truck and never had a problem. $500 down at auction end via PayPal. Balance cash or cashier's check when you come to pick it up. I'm confident that this truck is able to get you home wherever you want to go. Highway driving is no issue.
