Up for sale is my 2003 Matrix. This is one of the best cars I have ever owned. Unfortunately I can not justify keeping it. as I took a new position with my employer that affords me a company vehicle. otherwise I'd probably have this car forever. Car is in unbelievably clean condition. especially for a 2003. The only real blemish is the scuff on the right rear of the bumper. You will see it in the close-up pic. Other than that. the car is in great shape in and out. It is mechanically perfect. In the year and a half I had it. I have not had one issue. No check engine lights. no overheating. nothing but routine maintenance and normal wear and tear. I had a new clutch put in about 10K miles ago and have receipts. Car is garage kept. very well maintained and records were kept. This car is the best of both worlds. I have 5 boys. so the one requirement of my wife was it had to have 3 seat belts in the back seat. I tried to argue that we had the Suburban for that. but she wasn't having it. and needless to say. I lost that argument. I have to say though. when this car came along. it was perfect. All the seats fold down for maximum storage. You can fit 5 adults relatively comfortably. But the most surprising part about this car is it's performance. Being a Camaro/Trans Am guy growing up. I would have never believed the amount of torque and acceleration that a 4 cylinder car could have. This is attributable to the supercharger. The car can be as tame as you like. but mash the throttle and get into mid and upper RPM range and it's a little rocket. Handles like a go-cart. Just a fun car. But don't take my word for it. do what I did before buying this car and read the reviews. I read them before going to see the car. I didn't have the car out of 3rd gear on the test drive and my decision was already made. Please feel free to call or text with questions. Doug - 973-534-7131
