2001 Toyota Tacoma Pre Runner Extended Cab Pickup 2-Door 3.4L

I would be willing to deliver the vehicle anywhere in the US with absolute confidence I will arrive with no worries about breaking down. 422. 02 miles on it and motor is just getting broke in. Toyota service department is only mechanics to ever put a wrench on her. Super clean. few small dings on tailgate and rear bumper. but other than that. it's in great shape. not many 2001's with 1/3 the miles in as good a condition. I got a newTacoma in April and my local Toyota dealer offered me 7. 00 on a trade in . I bought it at CarMax in mid 2001 with a little over 20K miles on it . I've put 4 batteries. nbsp;8 sets of tires. 2 alternators. had timing belt replaced at 180K and again @ 360K. replaced struts and shocks at 250K and it made a difference you wouldn't believe. Drove like a new one again for over 100k for a lot less money than a new one. Replaced valve cover gaskets about a year ago. Toyota went completely thru the motor t 400k and said it was absolutely good for another 400K if kept maintained as it has been. Everything else has been regular maintenance until a lady decided to abort her turn and pull back into the lane and I hit her and got hit in rear. no damage was done to rear as trailer hitch went into the grill of the car behind me and her car never even got to the bumper. second time my hitch ha saved me from any damage when the car behind me wasn't paying attention. It bent the front edge of the hood pretty good. broke the front grill and left headlight and blinker lenses. and dented the front of the drivers side fender and the front bumper. Nothing was repaired. All new parts were put back on it. Even had them put a new front bumper on it. that they said they could easily fix. and sold the old one cause it looks really good with new parts on the whole front of it. Had them go ahead and sand and paint the whole front clip also. Not one time has it left me on the side of the road. Even when the alternators went out. the battery got me home every time. I may just have some unreal good luck with Toyota Tacoma's. but every one I've ever bought has been built to perfection because this truck still runs great. I've taken extremely good care of the truck. I'm asking $9. 00. 00 I have already had offers to match Toyota's $7. 00. 00. Prospective buyers are welcome to drive it. Toyota has all the records on it. I don't bother keeping up with them. It's obvious how well I take care of my Tacoma's. If you have questions. just email me. The stock radio in the 2001 is one of the better ones I've ever had in any vehicle. The Toyota racing development package (TRD) that came with the 2001's is awesome. It's the one feature on this model that I know I'm going to regret letting get away. Just come to a stop. push the button and have instant positive traction. With the short wheel base on the pre runner. you can go nearly anywhere 4 wheel drive can. The TRD button gives you a close 2nd to 4 wheel drive without all the expenses of tires. and maintenance that come with 4WD. Enjoy it! I sure have.
