Rare manual transmission 4WD van with 195. XX miles. I've owned this van over 3 years and it's been everywhere with me. and it will go anywhere. I hate to sell it but I'm moving overseas. I'm asking $3000 or best offer. The good: This van is practically indestructible. It has low miles for this model and motor; it's merely middle-aged. During my ownership I've replaced the front brakes; starter. battery & battery wiring; catalytic converter and portions of exhaust system; rebuilt it's radiator and replaced water pump. thermostat. and fan clutch. All of the work it's needed were simple things which are eventually required of all vehicles. This van is tough and reliable. Most everything works as though it were new; power locks/windows and the like. Front and rear A/C still blows cold! Has one captain's chair and a handy sleeping/storage platform in the rear. Also has a small lock box which I secured to the floor using the other captain's chair's bolt down points. I still have the other captain's chair as well. The bad: It is not cosmetically pristine. It has wear & tear. and dirt that will never wash out. Minor dings and dents. Nothing substantial. It has the rust spots which are typical of this van and other 80's Toyotas; nothing critical or too cancerous; zero rust on the underbody and frame. Other than the cosmetic issues. it has an inoperable lever on the dash which controls the hot/cold air but it can still be manipulated from below the dash near the floorboard. The radio works but the speakers are pretty rotten. It will need new tires and an alignment before too long; possibly rear brakes. Leaks a bit of power steering fluid. nothing too alarming. As of lately it's running rough (intermittent misfire) from cold start until warm; I presume it could possibly need new plugs & wires and/or a distributor cap? I would also replace the front hubs sooner than later; didn't use 4WD much this past winter but did have trouble getting the hubs to engage/disengage a couple times - pretty simple/cheap fix with old 4runner manual hubs. All that said. I still wouldn't hesitate to drive it as is to the tip of the Baja today. The other good/bad: The racks and RTT in the pictures are not included. The rear window's dark tint is the temporary cling-on removable variety. I have a new OEM Toyota dual-din CD cassette combo that just needs to be installed. This van is being sold as-is. I also have it for sale locally and reserve the right to remove it from ebay if sold. You won't find one of these for sale very often. Happy bidding.
