I purchased this truck used in 2006 Dealer Certified from Sexton Chevrolet in Manteca. nbsp;California (they are now closed) with 27000 miles on it. Intending to keep it for a long time. I have kept it carefully and changed the oil religiously. It has been kept stock for the most part. We have added a Banks Ram Air intake system. the bug guard. the bed liner. the tool box and a 48 gallon “midship” Transfer Flo fuel tank. The NP263 transfer case was replaced in February of 2014 with a rebuilt case which includes the oil pump modification. Apparently light duty trucks between 1998 and 2007 are subject to this issue so I made sure the modification would be made in the replacement transfer case. When we had the transfer case out we also added an aftermarket transmission rear housing support to help keep things more stable in the drive train. Both drive shafts were inspected at this time and pronounced tight. The fuel pump was replaced in December of 2014 and all fuel rails and injectors inspected at that time and found to be in good working order. This truck has a rare yellow paint job which is very eye catching but of course it’s most outstanding feature is the custom “one of a kind” art work on the tailgate. This Star Wars themed wrap was custom designed for this truck and features the Millennium Falcon destroying a Tie Fighter. The planet in the background is matched to the yellow paint color. This was a special birthday gift to me from my husband and it will be included in the sale of this truck. On the front of the truck there are spots where the clear coat has peeled. these are restricted to the hood and the front fender trim. Please check the photos. I will do my best to show it. The truck has BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A radial tires. In my opinion this is the best brand of all-terrain tire out there and the only one I have bought on my pickups for the last 30 years. Unfortunately one of them suffered an irreparable puncture last year and was replaced with another brand of tire the same size and tread age. The tires are in good serviceable condition. We felt that the next owner would rather select their own preferred tires. Please inspect all the photographs carefully. No outrageous off–roading. overloading or overworking of this truck has taken place. It has gotten as much as 16 to 18 mpg unloaded or lightly loaded on the freeway. It gets a consistent 11 to 12 mpg towing. The only reason we have agreed to sell this pickup truck is that we will be using the capitol to grow our business.
