2005 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

We are the original owner of this Jetta. The mileage listed may change a little since I drive it around town just to have it used and there may be some test drives. It has always been trouble free until about a year ago. Around then the transmission started having a harsh shift. It started around the same time the check engine light came on. VW has some proprietary OBD 2 codes so my scanner can't tell what the code is or if it is related to the transmission. There is no consistency behind when it is going to do it. It may be between any gear and could be during up shift or downshift. I have no ability to work on automatic transmissions and the shop I took it to said he would only have the ability to put in a new trans. We decided to just keep driving it until it quit moving but it has not changed. I can drive it 40 miles to work and not have an issue or I may have the harsh shift as soon as I leave town. It still pulls fine and may last forever. I have a new vehicle and no longer have a need for this 40+ mpg car. Look at the pictures closely as they show a lot of the car. There is some rust above the windshield and around the license plate. The tires are good and have no leaks. The spare is where it belongs and has only been on the car a few miles. As you can see from the picture all the tire change parts are still there. The owners manual is still in the glove box and there are two switchblade style key fobs. This car will not be shipped by me so you will have to pick it up here in Bainbridge. IN. Use your own judgement on if it can be driven or should be hauled. You will have to leave the first $200 with PayPal and the remainder will be due in cash only when you pick up the car. Final payment and pick up will be due within 7 days of auction close.
