Really Nice 1971 VW Super Beetle Convertible Volkswagen Karmann Collectible Bug

Up for auction is the first year of the Super Beetle Convertibles (1971). This beetle is in very good condition for being 44 years old. I will start by saying this is not a show Beetle but does look very nice as you can clearly see from the pictures. These cars are becoming harder to find and more valuable. This car has had a couple paint jobs in the past. You can tell when you open the hood and trunk because you can see some red and white. Overall its a decent paint job but again not a show paint job. It does shine nicely! All the windows roll up and down as they should. engine starts every time on first crank. transmission shifts smooth. It appears as though someone restored this vehicle many years ago. I want you as the bidder to know exactly what you are getting so I encourage anyone to contact me which is why i'm putting my phone number in this auction. I also encourage anyone who can make it to come look at the car as well. More about the car. It doesn't have any major dents. Bumpers are nice. tires have good tread. interior is fairly nice with no rips in the top or any of the seats. Speedometer has been replaced at some point and there is a "odometer discrepancy" on the title. I can only assume that someone replaced the whole unit including the odometer. The VW does run and drive good but the brakes are weak and will need some work. I did just drive it down the interstate smoothly at 70 MPH. I would highly recommend someone trailering this Beetle home if you have a far distance to drive. I would be willing to deliver this vehicle for a reasonable fee. The beetle also has some minor rust but its far from being classified as a typical rusty Beetle. Perfect summer vehicle that is ready to cruise the roads after some brake work.
