2005 Volkswagen Jetta GLI Sedan 4-Door 1.8L automatic 5sp tip

The car runs and drives. The Bad: 2nd to 3rd gear shifts little rough. Had it checked out and the transmission needs a solenoid replaced that controls that 2nd to 3rd gear shift. The transmission shifts smooth if you let off the throttle before the 2nd to 3rd gear change. The car was vandalized when I first got it and it was repainted. I have pictures of before. The history report shows frame damage but because of the vandalism to the outside of the body. The car has never been in a collision. The hood is bend. I live in the city and someone decided it was a good idea to jump over the hood of my car. As a result of living in the city the front and rear bumper have paint chips. The interior is 7/10. there is some front door panel fabric pealing. a common jetta issue. Normal wear and tear. This car was from the south and has only been in Chicago land for short few years. There is absolutely no rust any where. The car had lots of maintenance done on it. Other than the problems listed above. the car is in great mechanical shape. Front wheel bearings. timing belt service. water pump. thermostat. fuel pump. new belt with tensioner. spark plugs. have been replaced all with in last 8000 miles. oil changes done every 3000 miles with large filter (2002 Passat 1. 8t) to prevent sludge build up. There are some issues with the car and the car needs some work. But its a great daily driver with a little rehab.
