COMPLETE RESTORATION 1969 WALK THRU – SO67 WESTFALIA BAY WINDOW ***FOR SALE***

Here is a 8 months complete restoration of a 1969 SO67 walk thru westfalia bay window. This bus is the most complete. clean and detailed bus on the market. Everything has been done. Please visit our website and different accounts ( see below description) for more than 200 pictures and videos:Vintagebusimport. comWhen we bought the bus we simply removed every part from the bus. did a couple of weldings with some Klassic fab sheet of metal ( Green): Battery tray and the opposite side plus the rear left and right panels. The frame has been cleaned. treated and sprayed with undercoating to prevent rust issues. Then the bus went to the bodyshop where it has been sanded to metal in and out ( Doors removed as well as ALL parts in and out the bus). sprayed with epoxy primer in and out and sprayed with a Dove blue single stage paint and a off white for the top( According to what has been done in the past ) in and out. The dashboard was removed as well. During this time we've worked on the engine. transmission. front axle. rear axle preparation. sand blasted a bunch of parts in our warehouse like: IRS arms. Painted in red on the pictures) Spring plates. And the list goes on and on. Sand blasting was and is the way to do it right. When the bus came back from the bodyshop. we put back the complete rebuilt front axle. Rear axle. transmission. suspensions. brakes. Refreshed gas tank ( Repainted after all). brand new engine. insulation. high quality birch wood panels (All around the bus including roof. side and kick panels). Redo the complete electrical wiring of the bus. etc. etc. etc. Well we just did it right. The bus will be ready right now. We are just waiting for 2 more parts: Aluminium trim between the hardwood floor and the cargo ( Where the sliding door is) and the floor mat between the 2 front seats. We also need to put back the wood panel on the side furniture ( Removed to show the inside). The curtains rails are there but not installed as we were thinking that you would like to install your own. At this point the bus is still in our warehouse and you can come to see it anytime. There are more than 200 pictures and 2 short videos of how the bus was and how it is now. We have tried to document our work from the beginning.
