1965 VW Bug Convertible

This 1965 VW was found in a barn in Maryland. it had been sitting for 25 years. We had it sandblasted and installed new support rails. new floor boards. removed rust from lower corners of car. Body work is not complete however. Rear luggage rack needs to be welded. Car is half way restored. Body work is still needed in the rear lower fender corners. Convertible top needs to be rebuilt. On the positive side. All glass is with the car except the front windshield. 1500 CC single port motor that is not picture but included. has not been run in 25 years but turns over manually. This car will make a great restoration project for the do it yourself-er or taken to a professional. Once restored the value should exceed the restoration price. Reserve is set very low.
