1968 Volkswagen Beetle - Automatic Stickshift - Restored - California Car

My son and I have decided it is time to sell our toys. I am getting too old to be out in the garage and I promised him if he helped me sell he could use the money to go to college. The "Automatic Stickshift" is an extremely rare find in the US. let alone in a restored '68 Bug that still maintains black California license plates. This car has always had a special place in my heart for being such a cool. clean and unique Beetle. It will be sad to see her go. She safely took my daughter to and from college. She is soon to be deployed so it is time for someone else to enjoy the Bug. For those who don't know. the VW Auto Stick is a sought after optional transmission that is essentially a manual without a clutch pedal like the Porsche Tiptronic. Perfect because she never stalls and it is easy to drive in traffic and on the open road. This bug has been completely gone through. The entire Bug has been stripped. nbsp;reupholstered. reconditioned and restored. Her seats are comfy and new while keeping everything the way it should be. During the restoration I wanted her to look clean. simple and original. Since. she has been religiously maintained. She shifts. idles. starts. and drives better than she did in the summer of '69. This is a clean. solid. and original California classic Bug that definitely stands out in the crowd. I haven't seen a finer one. You will be pleased.
