Description

For consideration is a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta. just shy of 150. 00 mi. The exterior is black. and the interior is black & gray. I can't stress enough how CLEAN this car is!! Given its year and mileage it is probably cleaner than 90% of new cars on the road today. I have been the owner since about 40. 00 miles and am extremely fussy to say the least when it comes to my cars. It also has been well maintained. Regular oil and filter changes. I have ran Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil since I've owned it. Some of the most recent repairs have been a new Catalytic Converter. new hood. new grill assembly. and both headlight assemblies have been replaced. The hood was primed at the factory. so I painted it to the best of my ability(which I'm no pro) to keep it from weathering but for an improved appearance it could stand to be done over or at least lightly sanded and painted again. Or just left the way it is if it's not a priority for you. The part of the car that does need addressed is the transmission. It is an automatic with 1st. 2nd. 3rd. and drive (obviously park. reverse. and neutral too). Currently there is no drive. It does still have 1st. 2nd. & 3rd. The extent of what I know is the transmission has a leak. I can see it "puddling" on top of the transmission when I'm looking into the engine compartment. Whether it just needs resealed and tranny fluid added or if the problem goes deeper I do not know. I opted not to take it to anyone to get a diagnosis. This transmission is considered a sealed transmission and does not have the simple dipstick to check and add fluids. Instead you have to get under the car to check fluid levels and add fluid if necessary. Generally it is nice to have someone experienced or that works on these for a living to service the transmission. This is a basic. honest rundown and may leave you with questions. If so. PLEASE ASK and I will answer them honestly and to the best of my ability. The highest bidder MUST contact me within 24 hrs of winning to let me know of your plans for pick-up as this is FOR LOCAL PICK UP ONLY!! (Please do have a solid plan in place before bidding) Obviously a title transfer would need to take place. Deposit of $250. 00 is required within 48 hrs via PayPal. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Failure to submit deposit within 48 hour timeframe is an automatic forfeiture!! If this is an issue. DO NOT BID!! SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!! This is the 2nd time around for listing this car due to a NON PAYING bidder. Thank you in advance for your interest and taking the time to look!!
