Greetings!What we have for sale/Best Offer is my 1989 VW Jetta GLI Wolfsburg race car. First off, purchased this car with a bill of sale as back fees were due on the title and never pursued getting the title. This car is sold with a bill of saleonly.
It was built by an engineer in the Bay Area, nd according to the paperwork I have, e did spend a bunch of money making it safe, un and fast. It has Neuspeed springs and bars, ull roll cage and two sets of Ronal aluminum wheels and tires. There are plenty ofextra injection parts, spare head and a new radiator.
The car runs fine but the cold start system doesn't appear to be working so it is a bit of a pain to start when cold.
I purchased it for NASA (where it has raced at Thunderhill and Sear's Point) endurance racing but decided to stick with vintage and land speed racing for now.
