Herbie is in good condition with many new partshas a rebuilt 1600 engine with around 3,000 miles. New floor pan, uspension/steering parts, hocks, rakes, ires, ome glass/seals and head liner. He drives really well for his age having all of the new parts surelyhelps it's like driving a nearly new bug. The only mechanical issue is the brake light sticks in the on position seems to have happened when we bled the brakes. The interior is missing the radio someone replaced it with a newer model and messed up the hole (no radio included)and it is missing the ashtray. The driver seat is alittle torn and taped. The release for the passenger seat to fold forward is inoperable (new cables included)to be appliedwhen new covers are installed. Does not have a factory type carpet and the rear seat has been deleted. Herbie could use some minor body work and new paint, haven't noticed any major rust just a quick paint job over a seemingly solid car. There is some surface rust that has been painted over andsome bodywork on the rear fender the bracket for the running board on the right side rusted and broke (the lastthree pictures are theissues). Other than some minor issues the new parts on this outweigh any of the trivial stuff. Vehicles this old do not require a title in Alabama I can obtain a notarized bill of sale which should work for you. The car is solid and being sold as is the shipping, ick up or delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact me with any questions, hanks for looking and good luck.
