Up for Auction97 volkswagen Passat TDi 1 Owner CarThis is a 97 (17 yr old) Passat Tdi that was purchased from a local auction . We’ll try and give you an accurate description from the time we’ve owned and driven it. Overall its a good condition engine & Trans. it starts with no problems not even these low temps. The CEL comes on after 2-3 not sure why but it doesn't affect the Perf. Will work on trying to extract the codes. The trans shifts great along with the clutch feels good. I wouldnt hesitate to drive the car anywhere Tires seems to be OK but will need to change eventually for your comfort. As for the Inter. does have some common issues needs headliner . armrest replaced. the driver seat has a tear. the Ext. door handle and the clear coat is peeling on the hood . roof and the deck lid.
