Finished in Ruby Red over White. this iconic vehicle is truly an iconic eye catcher. This bug was believed imported by an American Serviceman and sympathetically restored over the years. The 69. 00 kilometers are believed to be correct as many of her original parts show very little wear for their age. Much time and money has been lavished on this car. and it shows. The undercarriage is amazing; her floorpans look to be original and are in pristine condition. The Ruby Red repaint is excellent. and extends to the doors and underside; she shows very well with deep shine and luster. The White vinyl interior with red piping was restored and is virtually new; the white perforated headliner shows very well. The RED carpets are new and excellent. The white “Roll-Back” sliding sunroof is in excellent condition. and its mechanism works smoothly. Mechanically this bug is in wonderful shape and drives extremely well. Her 1300cc. 50 horsepower engine has good compression. starts easily and has good power and torque. The electrical system has been converted to 12V and all systems work as they should. All chrome and brightwork were clearly replace. and show as near new. Her wheels are painted white. feature chrome moons and are shod in new coker classic whitewalls.
