I am selling my 2001 VW Golf TDI. I purchased it over a year ago in Colorado from a dealer, nd converted it to run on vegetable oil with a Greasecar Kit, hich I will detail below. I worked for several years as a professional Greasecar Installer and have completed over 30 conversions, s such this one has a few bonus components. The vehicle can run on diesel or vegetable oil independently. The car drives great and incredibly smoothly, ike a pad of butter sliding across a hot frying pan. I have routinely gotten in it and driven it for 1000 miles straight without issue.
I have service records for the vehicle going back to 75,000 miles, he vehicle was maintained by a professional TDI mechanic inColorado, ne of 3 in the state who specializes in TDI's. He maintained the vehicle for me, s well as the previous owner. The vehicle was maintained excellently as is detailed below. I never skimped on the maintenance of this car, nd searched long and hard before I decided to buy it. As a mechanic who has owned 20+ diesels in his life, feel this is a very strong car with many miles left in it.
I have driven this car coast to coast several times, romCaliforniato Maine, t is anextremelysmooth car on the road, nd fun to drive. The upgraded injectors give it quite a kick.

The Greasecar KitThe Greasecar kit is a standard VW kit, ith 3 position switch, nd an added Co Pilot setup. The 3 position switch controls the switching from diesel to vegetable oil and purge mode, he co pilot was added toindependentlybe able to monitor the coolant and fuel temperatures fromadditionalsensors under the hood. In myexperiencei have had issues with copilot computers not switching valves properly, ence the 3 position switch control.
I'm selling the car because its not large enough to haul all of my equipment for work, nd I need to upgrade to a Jetta or Passat TDI, lus I have 3 other vehicles.
The car is 14 years old, nd in that time has some blemishes and wear, have done my best to detail those conditions in the condition description area, am more than happy to show the vehicle to anyone that is interested, t is located just outside of Chicago IL
