2005 Volkswagen Beetle GLS Convertible. Only 55k miles! Serviced! 2004 2006

You are looking at a nice 2005 Volkswagen Beetle with only 55,100 original miles. This Beetle was involved in a previous accident in 2010 and does have a rebuilt title, hich was taken into account when pricing this vehicle. Overall condition is fair, here are no major dents, cratches or dings. The bumpers have some minor scuffs and there is a small crack at the bottom of front bumper. Interior is in good shape, here are no tears or rips in the leather. Door panels are not worn out like many of these. Convertible top is in good condition, t was previously repaired in two places but functions perfectly and does not leak. Mechanically - this vehicle has no known problems. There are no warning lights on the dash, C is ice-cold, ll switches and window motors work perfectly. Tires and brakes were recently replaced and have plenty of life left. Transmission shifts very smoothly, t was just serviced and valve body replaced at a cost of $1,500 (have all records). PLEASE NOTE - these beetles have a manufacturer's defect in the transmission valve body, here was a class-action lawsuit against VW for this defect. If you google "2005 beetle transmission problems" - you will see numerous complaints. If there are no records of transmission valve body being replaced, t will most likely fail and you will be stuck with a $1,500+ bill. In the case of this particular beetle, ou have no such worry as this was already fixed.
