This is my 2000 Volkswagen Golf TDI with an automatic transmission. This is my car and I am the registered owner and car is under my name. It has fairy low miles of 166k miles. These Diesel engines easily go over 300k miles! Check on craigslist people selling similar cars with TDI engines with 357k miles on them! This is “good years” prior to the TDI scandal with Volkswagen.
The interior of the car is in great shape! No rips or tears anywhere. The headliner is nice and clean with no sagging or rips anywhere. The interior is actually in really great shape for the year. The interior smells nice and clean with no weird odor or smells. This has the crank windows, o you don’t have to worry about window regulators or window motor or switches. Everything works in the interior except the Radio does not turn on. It is the original radio with a cassette player, am sure whoever buys it would want to upgrade that. There is a black plastic trim that goes around the cup holder, hich is missing. The cup holder works perfectly it’s just a little trim pieces. The glove compartment opens and closes fine with no issues but one of the hinge legs is broken, o when you open it you have to hold it. I posted a photo of it in the bottom.
The Exterior of the car is in excellent shape! No major dings or dents. The paint shines throughout the body of the car. All the doors and windows open and close like they should. All the lights works like they should. The hood has some chips clear coat marks from road debris, othing major. I took photos of the blemishes and posted it in the bottom. All the windows, oors and light work like they should.
Mechanically, he car is in great shape! The car drives very tight and runs great! It does not leak any fluids and the engine does not shake or make any weird noises. All four tires are matching and have lot of life still left. All four tires have lots of thread and are fairy new. I would not hesitate to drive this car to New York tonight! The turbo charger kicks in on time and has a lot of power for a little car. It just passed the very strict CA emissions Smog Check with no problems.
The car Is up for sale with a low reserve! It does much better fuel economy than a hybrid without all the electrical components that go bad. I would keep this car but it does not get driven enough to pay the insurance on it. You can call or text me anytime at 626.232.1831
