73 Volkswagen Super Beetle

Up for sale is a 1973 Super Beetle I acquired as a partial payment for a debt owed to me. I will do my best to describe the vehicle to the best of my abilities.Beetle runs good and drives straight and stops good. I will start by telling you the items that could use some attention.

1. Car Interior could used some work seats are worn NO RADIO visors need re- attached.

2. Has a toggle- push button to start car ( still need key in ignition ) might have some wires mixed around as flashers will flash when ignition is in on position.

3. Wipers don't work (may be fuse)

4. Car has no HEAT

5. Paint job looks good from a distance car was originally blue then red and now silver . Has nicks and small spots of surface rust on hood and behind passenger rear window. (see pictures)

6. Does leak a small amount of oil ( replaced valve cover gaskets recently)

7. Windshield is cracked (all other glass is good)

8. Weather stripping is dry-rotted and interior stripping for passenger window falls down when rolling window .

This beetle has a 1600 CC dual -port engine that some-one has added a lot of extra goodies. Has factory moon-roof. I'm unsure of the mileage on vehicle. Tires are like - new. Car was under coated when new and has NO_ ROT or rust other then the small spots by back window and hood where paint is chipped. Front parking & blinkers have been re-located to bumper. This is a good start for someone looking for a solid project beetle. Keep in mind it is a OLD VEHICLE that needs work to be perfect. I'm located in Silver City, M 88061.
