2002 VW Passat station wagon

This is a wonderful wagon and has served me well the past year. I'm a musician and haul musical and electrical equipment in its wagon. This car has never failed me: she runs smoothly. gets good mileage (mid-20s in urban traffic). its body and interior are in perfect condition (one minor accident before my time); and it has been a dependable workhorse for me. She does often (but not always) experience "hard starts" first thing on these cold winter mornings. but she never fails to starts and runs just fine afterwards. And because she's an old car. things inevitably needs adjusting and replacement - VWs are complex cars - but there is nothing compromising her running operation or mileage: she's a nice drive. I'm upgrading to something newer. but I recommend this care for an owner who likes to tinker with VWs: the hobbyist who could work on it occasionally. because old cars need that sort of TLC. For someone with this skill. this car will probably continue to run well. as it does now. for years yet - Passats do that!
