1958 VW BUG GREAT CONDITION!!! ORIGINAL 36HP 6 VOLT

This is one fantastic. original Bug!!! In addition it is very well sorted! This is not a pieced together bug. the pan and body numbers match (2052211). as well as the engine is period correct (2487574). The pan. body and engine (1200cc. 36hp) all have date codes of August of 1958 (according to thesamba. com). And yes it is still even a 6 volt system!!!Is the pan solid? ABSOLUTELY! this pan is completely solid and is in fantastic shape! Yeah. but what about the battery tray?! Yes even the battery tray is solid. Is the transmission original? It appears to be so. as the fantastic sound of a split case is ever present! Yeah that is all fine and good. but the electrical has to have issues! The electrical works great. blinkers. headlights and brake lights work great. The paint shines great and could be considered close to show quality. but of course it does have a few imperfections (normal stuff like the weak spot on the bonnet) as the repaint was over 10 years ago. The following is a list of recent improvement:• Brand new Coker vintage correct 5. 6-15 Bias tires (not cheap) put on 1/15/14• Rebuilt fuel pump (it is the original pump)• Full tune up• Brand new turn signal switch• New axle boots• Gas tank hot tanked and coated (on the inside)• All new fluids• Newer battery• Newer starterThis car does run and drive great! I really do not want to sell it. but I could use the money for other things and I just don't appreciate it like a true purist does. I really want to modify this car. such as bigger engine. wheels. lower it etc. . but too many people yelled at me for even considering "ruining" an original bug. That said I have decided to sell this one to find a pre-66 bug that isn't all original. This really is a great car and if you like attention and to talk about VWs then this will definitely do the trick. I will consider a part trade for another pre-66 bug that I can mess with. one that I can make faster. lower etc. Please note that buyer is to verify all and I will help in any way I can.
