Volkswagen: 1969 VW KOMBI BUS/VANAGON ***WITH ATTACHING SIDE TENT***

COUp for sale is my 1969 VW Kombi Bus with a side tent. I have over $10k into this bus. I took it in on trade and was going to keep it but my interests have steered toward a different direction. It's a very cool ride. It turns heads. gets peace signs and thumbs up everywhere you go. Its 46 years old this year and is in pretty great condition considering. It includes an original side tent as well as 2 briefcase red picnic tables. The tent is in great shape considering how old it is. It is usable with the poles that are included but it needs to have 2 poles made for it. It also needs 2 zippers repaired. otherwise the materials etc. are all in great shape. It's a pretty sweet ride for taking your friends/family to a festival. camping. garage saleing or any other adventure you might find yourself in. I have the front spare tire mount that goes with it but I had an original $300 emblem put on the nose instead :) It has a lot of character and even has an AWWOOOOGAH horn! Previous owner had the engine rebuilt. nbsp;and other work done 12k miles ago. I have a stack of receipts that are for it for work that the previous owner had done. Has a BRAND NEW (less that 100 miles) clutch. throw out bearing and pressure plate. It will needs the ball joints replaced. I have 2 to include with sale ($100 value). It also comes with a few other miscellaneous parts (oil bath air filter. extra side pieces. etc. ) I haven't driven it very much at all and don't know all too much about it but it runs and drives pretty good but the steering is a little wiggly. The bus is still enough of an easy project to fix and make it your custom baby. Interior is pretty complete. All the side panels are there throughout but the sliding door panel is not currently installed and needs a little work. The front seats are good but the back seat needs reupholstered. There is no middle seat. just front 2 and rear bench. There is a CD player with "bookshelf" speakers under the back seat and the normal door speakers up front (sounds awesome and gets pretty loud!). It has had the front bubble piece under the windshield replaced with new metal. These bus' are becoming much more popular and the values are definitely increasing with every year.
