2009 White Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen TDI diesel station wagon with beige leather interior. Mileage is 86,822
Very clean inside, ust had it detailed. Comes with dealer monster mats and rain guards for windows (rear passenger side is missing) Windows professionally tinted with uv block. Has factory 6 disc cd player with premium sound, s an added bonus I have a coupon from VW for 2 months of free Sirius radio no strings attached. Rims are alloy wheels in matte black.
Very well maintained, erviced at the dealership. Here is a list of work done:
Jan 2016 front brake pads replaced
Jan 2016 #3 Glow plug replaced
Jan 2016 Oil change w new filter (have always used the recommended tdi oil and never missed a change at the recommended interval of 10,000 miles)
Dec 2015 85k miles Diesel Particulate Filter was replaced under extended warranty, was informed this was an $8300 job, s well as Egr temp Sensor and differential pressure sensor
July 2015 MAF sensor removed and cleaned, ew air filter
June 2015 at 84K miles Fuel rail and pressure sensor replaced, ew fuel filter
June 2015 Dual clutch for transmission replaced under extended warranty and full transmission service done
June 2015 New Duralast Battery still under warranty
April 2015 (at 82k miles) Bridgestone tires with Run Flat package, riveguard BL 60K mile
I bought the lifetime allignment package from Firestone, don't think it is transferrable but I highly recommend it if you ever need it aligned and plan on owning the car for more than a few years. Had the alignment done again in Sept 2015 at 85k miles
Because of the extensive diagnosis done to determine that the Diesel Particulate Filter needed replaced (it was not an easy diagnosis- took Ray Brandt VW almost a week to determine the issue), his vehicle went under a major multi point inspection, here they went through everything with a fine toothed comb. This vehicle is in top running shape and just has some minor cosmetic issues. The first is some minor front fender damage to the plastic, t's not terrible, ut was quoted $1000 to fix (it really isn't that noticeable as you will see, nd if you know how to do body work the part can be ordered from Rock Auto for around $100 plus shipping). The second is the sunshade for the panoramic sunroof. The glue came loose on one side, till opens and shuts but I don't know how much longer it will work without ripping out of the track. So it sags a little bit in the back, ut not enough to be a nuisance to the passengers. It does prevent the sunroof from being open, ut to be honest I probably used it next to never when I drove, n New Orleans weather it's way too hot to have open. A relatively inexpensive solution would be to remove it altogether and have the glass tinted darker with a 100% uv block.
This is my second TDI, hey are great cars no matter what the hype is in the media. I did not have any work done on the exhaust system in relation to the diesel gate scandal, hat would be up to you and of course at no charge from VW. City mileage is 33-36 mpg, ighway is 40-45 mpg depending how you drive. It has a lot of power and with the turbo is extremely fun to drive.
I'm selling only because I outgrew the wagon and had to get something a little bigger with 4 wheel drive (we go back and forth to Wisconsin often and plan on moving there by next winter).
