Vegetable oil converted! Takes straight veggie oil as well as diesel/biodiesel. Conversion kit is an Elsbett, ork done under supervision of a German Elsbett engineer! Elsbett is the highest quality vegetable oil conversion available. $1000 value of the kit alone, ot including labor! (For comparison, reasecar recently sold a TDI converted Golf with 240,000miles and similar work for $7200)

Cosmetic issues

  • Left mirror was hit by hit-and-run in 2012. I did not replace it and it is kept in place by rope. I've driven many highway miles since then and it has not fallen off. (see photos)
  • Bumper could be replaced, urrently holding up with wire.
  • Right side of the hood and panel have some dents (local body shop fixed it up - see photos). I rear-ended someone in a parking lot (about 3mph).
  • Inside front door lining has come unglued (see photos).
  • Radio works! Audio tape and CD player are broken
  • AC needs some tuning up
