1968 Volkswagen Turbo Diesel Baja

One of a kind 1968 Volkswagen Turbo Diesel Baja Bug, ess then 1,000 miles on a complete rebuild. 1.6L Volkswagen Diesel with a water cooled Subaru turbo mated to a bus transaxle with solid engine mounts. New cylinder head, amshaft and cam followers, ings, istons, earings, il pump, iming belt, ensioner, ater pump, il pump drive, ebuilt injectors, njection pump and new return lines. K&N air filter, wire GM alternator, ebuilt cv axles with boots, heel bearings and seals, ew brakes, heel cylinders, adiator and water lines front to rear.
Complete electrical replacement, ew windshield, eadliner, uto meter gauges, cat shifter, cat front and rear upholstery, gallon spun aluminum fuel tank with fuel level sender, iquid heater with 3 speed blower motor piped into existing ducting, arpet kit with rubber floor mat, loor pans, ash pad, love box, iper motor and washer pump, oor and window seals throughout entire vehicle.
Fresh body work and paint, ew wide eye Baja kit, eadlights, uckets, ail lights and L.E.D turn signals. Rear tires are 265/75R15 Terra Trac's and front tires are 235/75R15 Terra Trac's. Also comes with a complete set of studded tires the same size mounted on white spoke wheels. Both sets of tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The project would be kept but was designed for an "ex" that is clearly no longer in the picture.
