Description |

This is a Texas bus that I bought in 1997. It was part of a Back to the Future display as the Libyan bus. It has the front extra headlights and a custom sunroof.
This bus has the factory AC set up, nd the refrigerant lines and the condensing units. However, hey are not connected to a compressor on the engine.
The original bus engine was replaced with a 1963 Olds 215 aluminum V8 and a 1984 Vanagon automatic transmission. This includes a custom adaptor plate (Kennedy Eng.) and a custom trans mount and trans cooler. There are also dual rear radiators. Custom exhaust by James Dean.
The trans shifter has custom LED lighting.
The radio is a 1982 GM Cadilac with equalizer and 4 way speakers. Sounds great!
The front seats are custom black with center console.
The rear seats have been recovered and a VW bus table was installed.
The vehicle and upgrades were installed 10 years ago. Paint is from 1990. VW blue and Vapor grey. Interior is somewhat faded after 10 years. Paint has typical chips and scratches.
Vehicle comes with original paint (leftover Deltron urethane), spare Rebuilt automatic transmission (never needed it), nd other misc. parts.
