1973 VW Thing, Solid CA driver, very original, rebuilt engine. Volkswagen Thing

Nice 1973 VW Thing with 83925 original miles and

less than 2000miles on the rebuilt 1600 dual port, etails below.

This Thing is overall very straight and solid, ery good pan, ut as you can see in the photos,

it has a variety of minor scrapes and bruises,and 2 small areas of rust at thevery

back end of the rockers,behind the jack points (which are solid) and in front of the rear wheel well.

Rebuild details (as per PO):

AH Case was line bored then matched with new main bearings and German crankshaft

And German rods, ll polished and balanced. New German pistons and cylinders, atched and updated rebuilt heads.

New heavy duty oil pump, ew Bosch generator,

New fuel pump, ew 009 distributor with CompuFire ignition, ew Bosch ignition coil and spark plug wires.

New dual Weber 34 ICT carbs. New Germans Sachs clutch, ressure plate and throughout bearing.

The transmission was completely gone through as well.

New ceramic jet hot coated exhaust system.

Clean California title, mog exempt.
