1990 Volkswagen Cabriolet

For Sale is our beloved Lena. 1990 VW Cabriolet Nugget Yellow with Tuxedo (Black and White) interior. We purchased Lena in 2010 with 153,610 miles and only have put around 11,000 on her in the past 6 years. When we got Lena she was in need of some serious love. Fortunately the previous owner kept her in great mechanical condition but she was definitely showing her age. Fortunately she had no rust anywhere. I replaced a dented driver door from another Nugget yellow donor, eplaced a damaged front bumper, nd a couple of the clipper kit pieces. She got a fresh coat of Nugget Yellow in the spring of 2011, t that time I replaced the tired and dirty original grey interior with a brand new white interior from TMI, ew seat covers, arpet and door panels. I replaced the original grey roof with a new white vinyl top along with new cables. The wheels are not original to the car but are correct year "castelets" that were stripped and polished. The original black body moldings were replaced with a reproduction "swallowtail" style. She has pretty much been my wife's summer daily driver since the late summer of 2011.

I'm not going to say that she is a showstopper. Lena is a driver and a darn good looking one. She does have a couple of stone chips etc. from being driven.
Currently she has PA classic registration and the inspection runs out in June.
Any spare parts as well as her cover and service manual will go to the new owner. Additionally I have an automatic transmission and associated parts to convert her to an automatic if that's your thing.
