1974 Volkswagen 15 Window Bus Kombi Vanagon TYPE2 T1 Split Window Classic Custom

Up for auction is a very nice 1974 Volkswagen 15 window bus. This factory split front windshield has been restored and runs and drives excellent. It has safari windows (flip out front windows), custom steering column with leather wrapped steering wheel, nd a custom interior that is in excellent shape. The split front windshield was manufactured in brail up until 1975.

The “bones” of this car are very healthy, ery solid/dry body and undercarriage. The bus runs very good, trong running 1500cc carbureted engine. The roof drip rail is original and clean with no rust or body filler. There are a couple blemishes in the body (extruded dent on driver side, hich I have photographed) and a couple scratches in the front bumper. The rocker panel is in great shape and so are the floor pans. The engine compartment is clean and very solid. This is not a frame off show quality bus rather an excellent driver

The bus drives pretty good, reat braking power and easy steering. The front end is pretty tight, ost have lots of steering wheel free play; this one is better than most.

The interior is VERY nice, ewer upholstery in excellent shape. There are LED lights that run the circumference of the interior roof line. The carpeting is great and is has a dynamat like sound deadener installed. Under the bench seats there is plenty of storage. It comes with some miscellaneous spare parts and a brand new mini portable propane grill.

This is a very good driver quality bus that can be used regularly immediately. Please go through the photos thoroughly as I have taken 98 and they are very honest. Thank you and GOOD LUCK
